Save A Relationship – Keep Your Distance
In the early days of any relationship it is tough to accept that one day you may have to deal with a break up. We all know that it happens a lot but we somehow influence ourselves that it can’t be for us or it will be different this time. But disagreement and discord is as much a part of human relations as is excitement and the passion of the honeymoon period.
The question that you absolutelyshould think about is, do you really want to save your relationship?
The primary step to save your relationship is to put some distance and some time between you and your lover. This is a very difficult action to take and to persevere with. But think of it this way, you both have begun a process of break-up and you must stop this process in its tracks before you can begin to save your relationship.
In the course of break-up there are some behaviors on both sides that need to change if it is not to run its course to inevitability. You both have feelings of hurt, resentment, abandonment, and or loss of self. Taking a break from the break-up process is the only method to allow your heart to mend itself.
If you want to save your relationship you have to temporarily suspend it so that you can come back to the reconciliation discussion with a different perspective.
There are two routes in how to deal with a break-up. You can plough straight on with talking things through in the heat of disagreement or you can turn the corner to cool down. If you can step off the path to break-up you can make a better decision about getting back on that path or finding a different path to a new improved relationship
