Advice for Men on Romance

Romance is a notion that often escapes us men. Due to the fact that there are no clear explanations of romance men struggle with the concept. Instead romance is a nebulous thing, thus something which females are better accoutered to understand and appreciate. No one knows exactly the reason why this is so, it just is.

Although romance does not have an absolute definition, thankfully it can be described or even enhanced with couples sex toys. A lot of what can be described as romantic are things, actions, and attitudes which women like or find attractive and want in a relationship. Since we are men we will find it hard to step into women’s shoes to find out first- hand what is romantic or not. The presence of the Y-chromosome in our genes virtually guarantees that. Happily, there are some rules which we can follow to overcome this handicap. Try and introduce some sex toys to spice things up!

The first thing we should accept is that there are some small things which are romantic. In other words they contain a certain quality known only to females which make them romantic by themselves.

Reducing the lights will generally work if you are attempting to be more romantic. It makes no real difference how you create the lighting.

Remember birthdays and anniversaries. If you forget any of these important dates, you do so at your peril and the danger of exposing yourself to cold treatment and tears from your special someone for at least a month or when her tantrum subsides, whichever lasts longer. Romance for couples requires you to turn a blind eye to your special woman’s faults.

A small amount of effort can go a positively far way in setting the tone for a romantic evening. Also be thoughtful in what you say and make sure to commend her aswell. If you find yourself in a sticky situation just be honest. These are just a few pointers that can help you get through being romantic enough or at least fake it, to get her to allow you to do your thing every now and then. Good luck!

As a coach, giving advice on dating and relationships is my passion. It’s understandable to feel skittish, especially if you’ve been hurt before. You want things to start out on a stable footing, but you feel like your past starts to creep in. You still feel like you need to know if they’ll stay committed. Wanda from Arizona asked “How do I know they’ll stay committed to the relationship”?

In my free 7 Secrets video, I explain how this question could fall under a couple categories. Your concern could be related to you getting clear on the values you desire in your mate when you Make the List, or it could also fall under the building your Self-Esteem category.

But primarily as I see it, I think this concern falls under the lesson on learning how to Make Your List. You see, you may have had a partner who strayed, or wouldn’t commit and you may have been hurt deeply and yet when I coach you on how to make your list, you’ll also amplify your desire and gain clarity on what you want and why you want it. Writing the list is a great focusing tool. Focusing brings clarity and intentionality in what you desire. In making your list you’ll find out if you’re sending any mixed signals and then you’ll sweep them out.

You quickly understand that you have the power to ask for what you want and get it. You’ll also learn how to determine what in which areas you won’t compromise.

It’s great to know that these principles also work in all areas of life, not just in love.

I’m frequently asked how to find love when there’s been so much failure in the past. Here are a couple of your burning questions and my Law of Attraction coaching answer to them.

1. I’m in my mid-40’s. I’m just about to give up on love. If I haven’t met a good one by now, will it ever happen?

If you can desire it, you can achieve it. Find out what belief you have, what story you’re telling yourself that’s not true and make it your business to shift that belief.

If you’ve been asking and it’s not been forthcoming, there’s only one reason. When you ask, and it’s not coming, you have a dominant belief or vibration about it being difficult. You have a lingering belief in not being worthy, or that something else is wrong with you. When you find out what that belief is, do whatever it takes to soothe yourself about it. Read how to bridge a belief in the Resources section on www.nanettegeiger.com.

2. How do I bring in the certainty in receiving? That is an excellent question! And I believe that it is the foundational piece that most of us need to work on. Build your belief muscles by pretending how wonderful it will be when your love shows up. Practice what it feels like to be in love. One of the very best ways is to work with the ‘feeling state’ as much as possible. Practice frequently. It takes repetition to learn a new habit.

By the feeling state, I mean engaging all of the senses by imagining what it will be like when … … the love of your dreams shows up … you plan a surprise gourmet picnic for him … you giggle at the inside jokes you both share … you play games in the car on a long ride etc., etc. You get the idea. This will move your vibration into the state of allowing because you’re acting AS-IF it’s already so.
