Uncovering Some Common Anxiety Symptoms

Alarming bulletins about medical and health conditions like  cardiac arrest or seizures appear to be broadcasted all over worldwide radio of late.  TV and radio ads notify us what to do if we experience dizziness, passing out, tingling sensations, and so forth.  However, very seldom will you witness an ad clarifying common anxiety symptoms, which is especially insensitive considering many people experience them and are very confused by them.

Experiencing anxiety symptoms is exceptionally common in our society today, since we face high pressure situations on a frequent basis.  Whether it is the distress that we’re lost in an unknown environment or we’re going to be late for a meeting or when the office phone rings suddenly, we all endure anxiety at some point in our life.  Thousands of us on the other hand may experience anxiety symptoms for seemingly no cause at all, and may misconstrue the symptoms with the symptoms of having a cardiac arrest or some other medical condition.  People who suffer from anxiety attacks frequently confuse these symptoms.

Anxiety disorder symptoms are definitely unique for everyone, and frequently it’s apparent that you’re simply having anxiety – right before speaking on stage, when you’re about to tie the knot, when you open your front door and see a couple of thugs standing there; these situations can easily make anyone anxious and nervous!  However for most of us, anxiety symptoms may also include shallow breathing, heart contractions, vommiting, chest pains, irregular breathing, tingling or numbness in the fingers, face, or toes.  Stomach aches, and headaches are not unusual either.  You can see how this could easily be confused with a heart attack or asthma or any number of other conditions.

If you get these anxiety symptoms on a sporadic basis, and particularly if they seem to occur for no reason, you should probably visit your doctor.  Initially, you will want to exclude the chances of it being a cardiac arrest or something that serious.  Secondly, he or she can prescribe pills or therapies that can help you live with the anxiety symptoms while at the same time working with you to uncover why you’re stressed and anxious to begin with.  You may have some chemical abnormalities in the brain or may need to learn a few new positive techniques on how to process stressful situations so that you’ll be able to reduce the flaring up of an anxiety attack before it gets really bad.

I managed to overcome my anxiety disorder after a lot of trial and error and dragging my family through the terror with me.  The solution I used was completely natural, drug-free and did not require never-ending counseling – I’m overjoyed to report that I’ve been free of anxiety for a few years now, I only wish I had discovered it years earlier.
